I really hate chemicals in the home. I do what I can to limit my family's exposure to toxic chemicals and now that both of my kiddos are helping more with household chores, I really want to do what I can to decrease their exposure to nastiness, too. And so, a friend and client of mine recently introduced me to a Norwegian company called Norwex. On the Norwex website the company clearly states,
"The global Norwex community is committed to providing educational resources and supporting charitable projects that address growing concerns about harmful chemicals, plastic pollution and environmental issues."
That's great and all, but I wondered if their products really did work and so I bought some of their products and...yes, they are awesome.
First of all, before you read my review of Norwex, you need to know three things about me. I hate plastic, I hate plastic waste, and I'm kind of lazy about cleaning. The less elbow grease I need to use to get something clean, the better. Because of the above reasons, I love the products I bought.
What did I buy?
Stainless Steel Straws. Yes, I bought stainless steel straws. Not for me, but for my daughter. She LOVES straws and much to her dismay, I never buy them. I find them wasteful and hard to clean. So once I saw the metal straws offered, I leapt to buy them. Final review? They are awesome.
The Wet and Dry Mop attachments. IYou can buy the whole system, but I already had a Bona mop and the attachements work with the Bona mop, too. Did I mention that I was frugal, too?Add water and minimal effort and my kitchen and bathroom floors are shining. For real. SO easy.
And that's about it! No, I am not a Norwex consultant, but can put you in touch with one if you are interested. Learn more about their products here and know that I get no money for promoting this product. I just get the joy in letting you know about a product that minimizes waste, reduces your family's toxic load, and saves you time and energy so you can spend more time enjoying your life.
